On the Water

Even though it is not recommended to go swimming in the water here, Thompson Lake is ideal for fishing. You can expect to find species such as bluegill, pumpkinseed, sunfish, bullhead, largemouth bass, northern pike, yellow perch, smallmouth bass, and white crappie. There is no motor restriction and it offers access to a boat ramp.
